We are glad you are here! Please join us in supporting our mission. We welcome everyone and encourage everyone's participation. We are thankful to our generous parents and community member donors who make all of our efforts possible!
Being a voting member of the PTSO provides a great opportunity to connect with other parents and cummunity members who share your passion for supporting our school. Being a voting member allows you to take a more active role in shaping the direction of our organization and making a positive impact on our school.
ATTEND OUR MEETINGS and become a member
Any parent, guardian, family member, or other adult standing “in loco parentis” for a student at Cedar Ridge High School may be a member and shall have voting rights. By attending our meetings you will also be supporting the school, be better kept informed of the school happenings, and get to know other parents, teachers, and students.
SHARE YOUR TIME, TALENT, OR EXPERTISE
By sharing your talents and expertise, you can help the PTSO organize events, fundraisers, and other activities that benefit our school, students, and teachers. Whether it's helping to plan a school dance, coordinating a bake sale, or providing guidance on a particular issue, every volunteer contribution is valuable and appreciated. Without the help of volunteers, the PTSO would not be able to provide the level of support and engagement that our school community needs. So, if you have a skill or talent that you think could benefit the PTSO, we encourage you to get involved and make a difference in the lives of our school, students, and teachers.
financial contribution
Of course, most of our goals would not be possible without the monetary contribution from our parents, community partners, and grants. All donation, big and small, go directly into fulfilling our mission and are immensely appreciated. We are grateful to all who contribute and support the PTSO.
Enhancing Academic Achievement and School Engagement
Parental involvement in high school education has been consistently linked to improved academic outcomes. Studies have shown that students with involved parents are more likely to have higher grades, better attendance, and stronger motivation to succeed in school. PTSA membership provides parents with the opportunity to stay informed about their child's academic progress, communicate with teachers, and participate in school-wide initiatives that enhance the learning environment.
